Privacy Policy

This page explains what PRESENT.fast collects today, how that information is used, and how we will reflect future privacy changes if the product evolves.

Last updated: April 8, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PRESENT.fast collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the service.

PRESENT.fast is designed to help users create presentations from markdown and structured notes. Today, the information we collect is limited to what is needed to operate that workflow.

Information We Collect

Presentation content you create or upload, including titles, markdown, and any material you choose to include in a presentation.

Account details provided through authentication, which currently may include your email address and, where available, your name.

Workspace and sharing metadata needed to run the app, such as workspace membership, presentation ownership, and whether public sharing is enabled.

Contact form submissions you send to us, including your name, email address, message, and any optional attachment you include.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the service, authenticate users, store and display presentations, manage workspaces, and support public sharing when you enable it.

We also use contact form submissions to respond to questions, support requests, and feedback you send to us.

We do not currently use your information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or product analytics.

Publicly Shared Presentations

If you enable public sharing for a presentation, that presentation becomes accessible to anyone who has the share link.

You should avoid enabling public sharing for presentations that contain confidential, sensitive, or personal information unless you are comfortable making that content available through the link.

Service Providers

We use Clerk to authenticate users, Convex to support application data storage and backend operations, and Resend to deliver messages sent through the contact form.

These providers process information on our behalf so we can operate PRESENT.fast. They may store or process data in jurisdictions outside your home country.

Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking

PRESENT.fast does not currently use cookies for tracking, does not run analytics tools, and does not track users across sites or services.

We also do not currently sell personal information.

In the future, we may introduce cookies, analytics, or broader data collection practices to improve or operate the service. If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe those changes.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain accounts and workspaces, provide sharing features, respond to support requests, and protect the service.

Because PRESENT.fast does not currently provide a dedicated self-service privacy dashboard, retention and deletion may depend on operational needs, user requests, and legal obligations.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information handled by the service.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Handling

The providers used to operate PRESENT.fast may process data in countries other than the one where you live.

By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to the safeguards used by the relevant provider and applicable law.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, portability, or limits on certain uses of your information.

You may also have the right to object to certain processing or to lodge a complaint with a privacy regulator.

To make a privacy-related request, please contact us through our contact page.

Children’s Privacy

PRESENT.fast is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us so we can review the issue.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the product changes, including if we introduce cookies, analytics, or additional data practices.

When we make material changes, we will revise the policy published on this page.
